Who we are

Artemis Labs supplies research-grade peptides for laboratory research use only. This
policy explains what personal information we collect through
artemispeptides.com, why we collect it, and what
we do with it.

We do not publish a phone number. Email is the way to reach us, and it is read by a
person.

What we collect

When you place an order

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your shipping address and billing address
  • A phone number, if you choose to give one (the shipping carrier may use it for
    delivery problems)
  • What you ordered, the amount, and the order date
  • The payment reference code we generate for your order, and the payment handle or
display name that appears when your payment arrives
  • Any notes you add to the order or send us by email about it

We never see your card, bank or account numbers. Payments are made
inside Venmo or Cash App, on their systems, not ours. What reaches us is a notification
that a payment arrived, the sending account’s public display name or handle, the amount,
and the reference code you put in the note. We use those three things only to match the
payment to the right order.

When you join the email list

If you subscribe to research briefs, we store the email address you gave us and the date
you subscribed. Nothing else is required.

When you browse the site

  • Google Analytics 4. We use GA4 to see which pages get read, which
products get viewed, and where visitors arrive from. GA4 sets cookies and records a
truncated IP address, device and browser type, approximate region, and the pages you
viewed. We look at this in aggregate. We do not use it to build a profile of you as an
individual, and we do not connect it to your order record.
  • Server logs. Our web server automatically records the IP address, the
request, the time, and the browser user-agent string for every request. These logs
exist for security and for diagnosing faults.
  • Site function cookies. The store sets cookies to remember what is in
your cart and to keep you signed in if you have an account.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for, and do not want, medical information, health history, or any account of
what you intend to do with a compound beyond the research-use conditions in our
Terms. Please do not send it to us. We do not buy personal
information from data brokers and we do not sell yours to anyone.

Why we collect it

Information Why
Name, addresses, order contents To take the order, pack it, ship it, and answer questions about it later
Email address To send order confirmations, payment instructions, payment reminders, tracking, and replies to your questions
Payment reference and sender handle To match an incoming payment to the correct order. This is the only reliable way to do it on a manual payment rail
Order history and amounts Accounting and tax records
Analytics To understand how the site is used and which research content people actually read
Server logs Security, abuse prevention, and fault diagnosis
Newsletter email address To send the research briefs you asked for

Who it is shared with

We share the minimum required, with the following categories of service provider. Each
gets only the piece it needs.

  • Payment services. Venmo (PayPal, Inc.) and Cash App (Block, Inc.).
Your payment is made on their platform under their own privacy terms. We do not send
    them your order contents.
  • Shipping. The United States Postal Service, and our label service
Shippo, receive the recipient name, delivery address, and parcel details needed to
carry the parcel. They do not receive what is inside it beyond the declared weight and
    dimensions.
  • Analytics. Google, for GA4 as described above.
  • Hosting and email delivery. Our server host and our mail provider
necessarily handle data in transit and at rest in order to run the site and deliver
    email.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to
    produce records.

We do not share your information with advertisers, affiliates, marketing partners or
list brokers.

Cookies

Two kinds of cookie are set on this site:

  • Necessary cookies for the cart, checkout and account sign-in. The
store does not work without them.
  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics 4.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies has
no effect on your ability to browse or order. Blocking necessary cookies will break the
cart.

How long we keep it

  • Order records — kept for as long as we need them for accounting, tax
and record-keeping obligations, which is seven years
  • Email correspondence — kept while it may still be relevant to an
order or a question, then deleted after two years
  • Newsletter subscription — kept until you ask to be removed.
  • Server logs — rotated and discarded on the server’s normal schedule.
    30 days
  • Analytics data — retained by Google under the retention setting on
    our GA4 property. 14 months

The email list, and how to come off it

If you subscribed to research briefs and want off the list, email
connect@artemispeptides.com from the address
you subscribed with, or with that address in the message, and say so. We remove it by hand
and reply to confirm.

We do not currently have a one-click unsubscribe link in our emails. Until we do, email
is the way, and it works. Being removed from the email list does not affect order
confirmations, payment instructions or tracking notices — those are part of an order you
placed, not marketing, and they continue.

We do not send marketing text messages, and we never will.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

Email connect@artemispeptides.com and tell
us what you want. You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you
  • Send you a copy of it
  • Correct something that is wrong
  • Delete it

We will ask you to confirm you are the person the record belongs to — usually by
replying from the email address on the order — because handing an order record to the wrong
person is its own privacy failure.

Two honest limits on deletion. We cannot delete records we are legally required to keep
for tax and accounting, and we cannot reach into Venmo, Cash App, Google or the Postal
Service and delete what is on their systems. For those, you have to go to them. Everything
else, we delete.

Depending on where you live, you may have specific statutory rights over your personal
information. Ask us and we will honour them.
you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing us, and we will honour it

Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection. Administrative access to order data is
limited to the people who fulfil orders. Because payments run through Venmo and Cash App
rather than a card gateway, we hold no card numbers to lose.

No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. If we ever discover a breach
affecting your information, we will tell you.

Children

This site is not for anyone under the age set out in our Terms, and
we do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has given us
information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be
noted on the page rather than made silently.
